WEEK 6

Post Reach
- Post Reach is referring to the number of people that see your posts/page.
This only includes the number of people who have looked at your posts, not likes.
Post Engagement
-  Post Engagement is the number of people who have looked at a post of yours and engaged with it. They can do so by liking, commenting, and sharing. If you have a high engagement on your posts it is likely that your post reach will grow.
Facebook has a really great feature that allows you to see all of this information and gives you tips and tricks to make these numbers grow. Not only can you see the number of people who have viewed your page but you can promote posts and do ads through facebook and market your business to your target audience.

Week 16

I found that twitter really surprised me with all of the options it offered for marketing and ads and I was also shocked at the prices being so high.  Overall I find that Instagram offers really reasonable advertisement options and a ton of insights. I will definitely implement all of the skills and strategies that we learned about this semester into my marketing strategies for future business endeavors. I think that what platform works best for you really depends on what you're looking for and who your audience is.  It seems to me that the more time a business puts into their marketing efforts and social media the more results they will receive. If you are are not putting any effort into your social media then you won't have the same results as someone who is dedicated to reaching a bigger audience.  Daily goals would be to make sure I am active in at least some way once a day. This could be through following other accounts, liking similar busin...

WEEK TWO

In my opinion, Instagram seems to be the most geared towards personal use. Most social media platforms started as a way to keep in contact with friends and family but quickly evolved into a way to promote products and new businesses. One of the most groundbreaking social media sites is Facebook. I think that as social media has grown into a business platform that Facebook has stayed current and made their site something that would be great for not just socializing but promoting your company and connecting with interested customers.  One social media platform that is not geared towards business, in my opinion, is Twitter. Twitter seems to be one of the only sites that has not become a major business platform. Instagram seems to work great for both personal and business-related uses. "Influencers" can promote products for companies and make lots of money based off of the number of followers they have. It is not uncommon to see Instagrams with 200k+ followers posting ads ...

WEEK 11

Email Marketing I think that email marketing is a super efficient way of communicating with your customers. With my social media marketing business, I believe that a newsletter would be really interesting for the people on my mailing list. In this newsletter, I could send out updates on some of our "success stories" tips and tricks that my customers can implement into the techniques they are currently using as well as maybe a discounted seminar. All of these things are great but personally, I don't love my email being crowded by the same brands emailing me about promotions what seems like multiple times a week. Keeping that in mind I would set out to have my newsletters go out every other week. Another reason for this is that I can really pack the interesting information into it which will hopefully get my readers excited and looking forward to receiving it.
